Hey Everyone

Hey hows everybody doing? Well for starters I know how grandpa feels about that cookie jar, its a pretty depressing site when its empty lol. Well not a whole lot going on over here, I was going to take a test tomorrow Morin to see if I'm eligible to become a detention officer, but right now that wouldn't work with my schedule right now. I been in the process of trying to enter the police academy but I need to get 30 hours of college time, so til then I'm kinda out of luck. But that's what I plan on doing is become a cop. Rachel and I are doing pretty good, went out with her and the owner of the shop I use to work at with his girlfriend to a seafood place. It went really well so that's good. Cant wait til she meets all y'all. And lately to I been teaching Stephen how to drive....Yup its getting that time so y'all watch out. Nah he's doing good, just taking it one step at a time. But I guess ill let yall go, talk to y'all soon.

"The Cookie Jar is EMPTY", "Grandpa". sadly said, a few days ago....That is a hint for me to bake more oatmeal cookies with raisins....so, I got busy and put 2 cookie sheets in the oven , and made him "Happy". That man LOVES oatmeal with the raisins cookies!...well, all was well til that evening, and I was craving my Reeses Peanut Butter cups..and went to the candy bowl, and there was the empty wrapper that I left the night before, and NO MORE Reeses peanut butter cups, oh, "Woe is me".

Nice quote below! and ohhh so true =) Sorry I haven't responded to the blog in a while...been sooo busy at work but things are finally slowing down. I love all the fall pictures! It's starting to feel a little bit more like fall...well if you are up early enough in the morning. Like you said, I know we can't hope for much of an early fall in TX!

I saw a stuffed scarecrow man and lady on my way into HEB the day after you posted your scarecrow pic! They were cute...I think you should get a lady friend for your scarecrow man so he doesn't have to sit on the bench by himself! hahahha....you can call him the "happy scarecrow man"...sorry I am not that creative! Well we are looking forward to our visit in the next month! Talk to y'all later!

Breaking the speed limit on highway life

Well for starters just wanted to give everyone a quick hello and howdy. Its once again been a busy time again. I recently took up another job at the old car shop I use to work at to kind of help them out, get the shop back up to standards and train a new guy. Its been going good but it gets old very quickly working all the time. I miss my gym time and those 4 days off haha. I got the fella pretty trained up so next week might not have to go in at all. I got to meet Rachel's parents last weekend and that went very well, and we had a goo time. This Tuesday she is going to come down here and meet the family. Looking forward to that! Gotta run ill talk to yall soon

"OLE TO OCTOBER"

October, my favorite time of the year....so, I got my "scarecrow " out of storage, and put him on his bench....It is almost a "unspoken rule" in Pt. Aquarius that come October, out come the "Scarecrows", (oh, I know there is another name for them, so someone let me know, please, what that is), but in the meantime, it is a scarecrow...when we moved here two and a half years ago, I noticed in October, almost every house had one somewhere in front, some on benches, some in different parts of the yard, and I didn't have one, so I started looking for one,....well, there was not a single one to be found in this part of the country, everyone HAD theirs(probably for as long as they have lived here, ) because I am sure somewhere in the "rules " for Pt Aquarius it states that EVERYONE MUST HAVE A SCARECROW, I KNOW, that sounds very silly, but I was to the point that I thought it could be possible(?), well, one day, while in Walmart, I FOUND one, and there were only 2 or 3 left, so I grabbed him and took off to the check-out...I was almost HUGGING that stuffed thing by the time I got to the check-out, (very funny sight) I am sure.. When we got home, I didn't even put anything in the Fridge, or pantry, I took my "precious Scarecrow" , and went looking for a place for him,..He has been in different places on our front porch, but this year, he is "sitting very proudly on our bench", he thinks he has "Arrived"
