Maybe Snoopy's "Raindance" helped

some of Houston and surrounding areas are getting a little rain this afternnoon, we are just getting the noise from the thunder, but are still hopeing for some rain...so keep Snoopy coming with the raindance, Jeannie

Lazy Days of Summer

Well, I do hope y'all have cooler weather than us, but i am thinking that it is just HOT every where right now...we get up early to get our "chores" done while it is a bit cooler than the rest of the day...this past week has really been burning hot, and no rain in sight, so, if you can do a "Rain Dance", maybe we should all give it a try, and see what happens, ha, ha....

On "Get Well List"

Corene is on the Get well list....She had Surgery on her arm, and is doing good with that..Regina is recovering well with her foot....hey, anyone else that we need to be praying for, please let us know...

Snoopy Whirlybird

She is constantly moving, from the time she wakes up til she just falls asleep at whatever she doing...in the one pic, she is in the box that Dad's miniture Roses came in from Regina, Jim...she loves to play and even sleep in that box...she is all legs now...Bo and Nancy are still adjusting to her...

"Stripes"

So here's a pic of Stripes...she was a stray around our apartment building (I think she's been around for two years!). I recently started spending time with her and feeding her and one day she showed up with a bad bite wound on her leg. The vet fixed her up and now she's up to date on her shots and walking around with more ease. I think she and Ally want to be friends but they are still unsure of each other. Anyways, "Stripes" is her stray cat name....I thought about changing it but nothing else really seemed to fit her. I think she is here to stay ;)

update - Project Back Porch

well, have finished our project-back porch...of course it will be a ongoing project..but have the basics, and enjoying it so much...as you can see so is Bo...Susy (the kitten) is behind the white screen asleep...as soon as she wakes up, she will be seeing her play "scratch pad, and play station that Irvin made for her...Nancy still has not taken to the kitten, so her home base is still the garage, and roaning at night, and when she can get in the house, usually on the dresser in the front bdrm. , sleeping away the day..but, we are enjoying the cool breeze that we usually have on the porch, without the bugs...and that is so nice!, and also we will have plenty of space for everyone on the special holidays, and dinners...

Bo may have been the culpit

well, after watching Bo , we decided that he tore the screen on the bottom of the door, ...we have bought the grid thingy to put on bottom of both doors, so that should stop that...we shall see!..still working on porch, but hopefully soon, will have it finished..we have already enjoyed sitting and having our morning coffee, and iced tea in the evening,...hope to have some suppers out there when we get it finished...we still have the kitten, guess we will see if that works out...will post pics when it is all done...

project-back porch

We are working on screening in the back porch, ...doing a lot of it ourselves, and had some done ...and our kitten that showed up on one of the neighbors porch is undoing some of the work.. it seems like we are going to have to find a new home for her..and she is sooo cute, just destructive, and Nancy and Bo are not adjusting at all to her..She is a smart little kitten, just wish we could find a good home for her...will keep y'all posted on this, and the work on the porch..
