I hope everyone is having a GREAT Thanksgiving! I am glad that Barbara, Debbie and Rachel (Bryan's Rachel) has joined us on the blog!

We had a very "special" turkey for our dinner.....he had THREE legs! I swear...he had two regular size legs then a smaller one!!..lol..

Everyone get a good night sleep.......cause CHRISTMAS IS ON ITS WAY!!!! HOHOHO

hey grandma thanks so much for putting together such a awesome very good thanksgiving meal. Its been awhile since we all got to do that and hang out. It was so good to see Liz and Sarah too. It is soooooo Friday! I'm at work right now and it's about 2:15...I don't think I've done that much work today though! We had a baby shower for one of my co-workers so I think that threw the whole day off! I made something to bring but left it at home on purpose cause it didn't really came out right...so I ended up pitching in five bucks for whatever....don't you hate when that happens? Anyways I love the puppy pics and will try to get a new one of Ally up soon. So Ally likes tofu! I accidentally dropped three pieces on the floor and she ran over and scooped them all up in her mouth really fast and ran into the living room to eat them! hehehhe....she is such a weirdo! I took her to get her pic taken with Santa about a week ago so I will post it when I get my copies. She was waaaay cute ;) Anyways just thought I'd say hi! Talk to y'all soon!

so this is 1 of our 3 dogs, Brie. She's 2 yrs old and absolutely acts her age! She wont sit still for more then 2 seconds (unless we need her to move then she can stay in one spot ALLLL day!) She's a pomeranian but, a BIG pomeranian. The vets think that she is mixed with something because she weighs 17 pounds. Well I hope yall are well! and cant wait to see most of yall this Sunday! I'm SOOOOOO exited! Love yall!

"What are you Thankful for"?

It is almost Thanksgiving, and althought it doesn't have to be just a day that we can just search our hearts and know what we are thankful for..there are so many people in our lives that we are thankful for every day!...As for myself, I am thankful that the Good Lord has permitted me to live a fulfulling life with a loving husband, and Three Children that love the Lord, and love and respect their parents, ten Grandchildren that are a joy to us always, and four Greatgrand children that are being taught to love the Lord and to be kind and thoughtful ..our family is growing with each precious person that is added ..I am So Thankful for our family!

Health update

Irvin will have Eye Surgery on Dec. 9th in the afternoon here in Conroe, for cataracks, will have the right eye first, then when that heals , will have surgery on the left eye...will have a few busy weeks ahead, but he will be able to see so much better after the surgeries are over...we still plan on having our Family Dinner on the 23rd of this month(Sunday, around 1:00 or so)

A Very Good Day

Irene and Debbie visited with us today, and we enjoyed so much them being here...We got a lot of "Catching up" , done, ...The day passed TOO quickly, and we wished they could have stayed longer, but we promised to come and see them very soon, and hopefully they will come back during the Holidays..Debbie promised to post pictures of Shannon's two little boys, looking forward to the pictures and future postings from her!

Rachel & Greg's Visit

Rachel & Greg & Allie came to visit us this weekend, we enjoyed so much spending time with them..We went to eat at a Italian place, in Willis, yummy food!...as it was cool enough for the fireplace, Grandpa lit it as soon as we got back home, we made hot cocoa and settled down to watch a movie(The Family Stone), a good Christmas movie, was funny and sad. ...then had our fill of banana pudding...Allie had fun (she is a "doll"), notice the Picture of her with her little "Playmate " shirt, she loves Grandpa, and sits in his lap every chance she gets...the time just passed too quickly...We love to have Y'all come and see us, the front bedroom is always ready for anyone that visit's us..looking forward to the 23rd, getting the family together for the day, dinner, and visiting!!

"Little Trick or Treaters"

Two of our Trick Or Treaters, (Brooke & Lily), although I really didn't expect any, we had about 30 or so Little"Trick or Treaters) , in a variety of costumes...there was also a hay ride for the Kids here in the neighborhood, ...lots of fun for them...was a reminder of the "old times"...I feel like the parents trusted the neighborhood, and let the kids go and enjoy themselves ...I will post Andrew and Katlyn"s pics when I get them....but wanted to post Brooke's and Lily's to show them off....that's o.k., A grandma's right..don't yall think?
