Good News!!! they are moving to Katy...Sonny was transferred there, and they are moving to Houston(Katy), in a few days,...they have already found a house, and scheduled to close right after Thanksgiving...We are so happy to have them closer to the family...

"Little Trick or Treaters"

Two of our Trick Or Treaters, (Brooke & Lily), although I really didn't expect any, we had about 30 or so Little"Trick or Treaters) , in a variety of costumes...there was also a hay ride for the Kids here in the neighborhood, ...lots of fun for them...was a reminder of the "old times"...I feel like the parents trusted the neighborhood, and let the kids go and enjoy themselves ...I will post Andrew and Katlyn"s pics when I get them....but wanted to post Brooke's and Lily's to show them off....that's o.k., A grandma's right..don't yall think?

"Time for the TRICK OR TREATERS,....the goblins, the Batmans, the Little Princess"es, the Superman's, well, you get the idea..Nowadays, they go to all of the Halloween Parties, the Fall Festivals, which is a lot safer than the old time Trick or Treating..but , it is a "shame" that the Children can't enjoy Halloween like in the "Old Days"..to be able to go from house to house in their neighborhood, with their friends, in their costumes, with their trick or treat bags, collecting lots of candy, then going home to devide among each other, and trade for their favorite, my kids were probably the last generation to be able to do that. As I put wrapped candy in a bowl to give to the Children if they do go "Trick or Treating", and put the decorations on the porch, I think we will be doing good to have a few to ring the doorbell and shout "Trick or Treat", yes, it is a SHAME!

We have been waiting for this night for a couple of weeks now, Irvin got the wood in the fireplace, and just hopeing for a cold night , or at least a cool night,...finally, the weatherman said it should be about 34 degrees here in Conroe, and it feels like it here in Willis..the wind is blowing and just right for that fire...so, we put on a pot of coffee, and I made my hot tea, settleing in for a nice cozy fire, and maybe a good movie, now that is pure joy!!!!!!!!!!
